Where are the English meanings?
To get English meanings you must install a dictionary file. For Japanese to English, install Jim Breen's edict file found at: http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/edict.html
After downloading the file, uncompress it and place the file "edict" in "~/Library/Kanji Crammer". That is in the "Kanji Crammer" folder in the Library folder of your home directory.
For Chinese to English, install the cedict file found at: http://www.mandarintools.com/cedict.html
Download the utf-8 version, place the file "cedict_ts.u8" in "~/Library/Kanji Crammer". That is in the "Kanji Crammer" folder in the Library folder of your home directory.

It is easy to forget to set the dictionary file for the language you are studying. Go to the preferences and choose the dictionary file needed. Remember that "edict" is for Japanese, "cedict" is for Chinese and "New Oxford" is for English.

Kanji Crammer does not come with audio. You need to either record a person's voice or download audio from the Internet. Kanji Crammer comes with decks for some audio files you can find on the Internet.

To open a deck in Kanji Crammer, simply drag the deck file into the deck browser on the left side of main screen.

Go to the Font Menu, choose "Show Fonts", select a larger size.
